The DTWC at Portsmouth this year is paying 100k to win , plus has a 3k non qualifier race and a 4k to win mod race and if you buy your tickets now pit passes are $60.00 lol lol Local promoters need to figure out how to draw fans not bend over race teams and then maybe they might start pulling cars ....

Florence, will have them packed in. Back gate costs are always a concern. Some promoters just don't see it that way. Florence pays 100k, other local tracks have paid less than 1/2 that and yet there back gate is almost doubled. Ppms and lernerville are probably the 2 biggest local late model shows we have. 1 charges you up the ass and the other charges some stupid ass extra fee that they put in there pockets.

I believe lernerville big event prices are fair. For what you get in return such as concerts, extra activities for fans, the atmosphere,ect for big events I dont mind the prices. Now if you want to talk $100+ for events like ppms and get nothing in return but a race.
