RD Shaffer Well Drilling Services approached Dog Hollow Speedway last month to become a 2016 sponsor and as a result the Cadet/Street Stock class will be at Dog Hollow on a weekly basis in 2016.

Rules will be similar to what was utilized for the ThunderDog Showdown.    Current Dog Hollow rules will still be legal, with GM 602, 604, 360 spec motors and 406 standard motors getting weight breaks.   This should accommodate all current configurations in the Western PA area.   Rules will be released in the post season.

Smart move. A track trying to work with the rest of the tracks and rules in the area. Great job. Others should take notes.

Lernerville never had a dynasty.   They had the same cars week after week.   Rarely do those cars go anywhere, and rarely does anyone ouside go there.

The Green 55 hitting the road?

Nice to see guys traveling out and about now with all the savings of owning a crate.

Somethings just seem backwards.

This is true.  With the cost savings, there should be more Lernerville regulars, and more of the regulars should be able to visit Saturday night tracks.

Another positive that I haven't seen mentioned is that there are guys that like to do their own engine work in the Lernerville stock class.  Since they like doing the engine work, maybe they'll become certified rebuilders.  That would allow them to continue to do their own engine work, and give them the potential to make a few bucks doing work for others.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.
