How much gear are super lates running at lernerville ,?? 6.00 ?

Final gearing selection depends on how fast your going to go out on the track.  If your not experienced there, i'd suggest putting more on then you find it "should" need.  It will help you run your engine with less stress on it from the start to the end of acceleration and also gain some additional engine braking.  As your experience level goes up, then you can start taking gear off and going faster.  A common mistake new racers do is to not properly gear for a little less speed and waist a lot of seat time trying to learn on a car which is setup for speeds they will not obtain.

 

If you were already aware of what I wrote and agree with it, then good and maybe if it's correct it will help others.

 

I also have no clue what gear you will need.  ... :)

6.04 was 7500 and 7.00 was 8300 in my car

A crate motor would have a short life at 7500. I broke a rod in a 604 , never turned it harder than 6400
