Exactly. Less bidders. Lower price for your buddies. Then resale for more profit. Somebody needs to check in on this guy. I really hope this is not true. Remember, you have to pay the auctioneer a fee then on top of that he gets a % of what is sold.Be a dam shame if he rips people off.

Auctioneers  have a sleazy reputation for a reason.

Was told by a person who attended that 1963 Split window Corvette went for $44,000

In that condition someone WAY over paid . I would have maybe gone 25 for it

If someone paid 44K for that car. It better have had a good I.D. plate for a restore project

But at 44k if you spent 35 to restore it your taking a 10k loss of you sold it ...

Yea, no doubt jon. I did a frame on resto on my 64 convertible the best I could get was 38000. And it had ALL the stk. parts. Took over a year to get that. Everyone was in the 33 to 35 range. I was at 40.
