Anyone hear the rumor Dog Hollow really wants to run Saturday nights next year? Doesn't seem to make sense to me but have heard that from a few people.
With Marion center dropping street stocks, are their many cars that even run both tracks anymore?

I love the stock body if it's true, BUT...... That really limits the cars that can run there if other tracks don't do the same. Not really a good move when they recently dumped the stocks due to already low car counts.
I put the pic on of what a street stock should look like, but not what they will look like at Dog next year.

You wonder why nobody is getting in the sport. Read above. And these asshole's keep making it more frustrating.
I see Walt posted Mike miller and his owners will be moving into a SLM. Yes due to winning the toys for tots car. Great for them. I hope they do well. But, did this just park the #81 sportsman car? The car counts for these guys next year is really going to be interesting. I hope that penn/ohio series can grow.

It doesnt help Marion Center or Dog Hollow when their lack of rules allows Nate Smith and his out of control stock car to dominate the area. If Dog Hollow adopted Lernerville's rules, I could see them pulling some of the Lernerville stocks. Plus, the cars that already raced at MC and DH obviously didnt want to go to Lernerville in the first place, so I can see them conforming to the rules as well. Or at least trying to. Doesnt have to be any massive changes, but at least things to get the class under control in that Indiana area

I guess i could say your idea is correct. My idea of out of control is not based on wild designs or illegal parts. It's more on the idea that his car is far superior based on the rules and lack thereof. Which is why its so hard to beat him in that area, but also why he cant travel elsewhere to race at tracks with stricter rules. Im not complaining by any means. Just stating that it might help the competition level increase for Dog Hollow if they develop a tighter set of rules.

Smiths running traction control, and anyone who has stood at ear level in the turns can hear his "quiet" engine miss as he goes through the corners. Most tracks have no clue what they are even looking at.

'Traction Control' Gracie??? Or, it could be a rev limiter!!
Or it could be that Nate is a pretty fair driver! I have watched him many
times, he doesn't make too many mistakes and runs smooth!!
Plus preparation plays a big part of his car and several others...

Im not taking anything away from his driving or equipment, but ive been doing this way too long to know what Im seeing. Everyone out there with an MSD box is running a limiter-that's obvious. A car doesn't magically tighten up in a corner at the same time it starts stumbling.
