Tri city will be an awesome race and eriez also.
And I'll address the elephant in the room, chalk another loss up for the racestud Warriors claiming no Lucas oil and no all stars...

The race last August was a total joke. Track was slick as heck. Only reason feature ended up being good was because Stewart made them water the track but other then that it was one of the worst shows I saw all year.

Eriez track prep has been suspect in my opinion. Wondering if the wooden catch fence can handle someone hitting a rut.

I was more or less pointing out the fact how everybody heard from Tony Stewart that they would never be back lol... Just messing with all the people who called me every name under the sun for saying they would be back.

I don't think i would be that cocky just yet, the show is not till the end of July. If management decides to ignore Tony's concerns, they can pull the plug on the show.
There are plenty of options.... I think it is a "good faith" move on the All Stars part to give them a date.... Time and management's actions will tell.

Of how peduto and Wolfe defend bringing Muslim
Terrorists to live here . That status quo had 5 division car counts in the low 30's the vast majority of the shows.

I am not sure they could just take the date off of someone, there are deposits with these sanctions, I would assume All Star has them as well.

I see an open date of 6-18-2015 in what I think is Ohio Speed Week. Could that date be open pending conformation from Wayne County? I don't see Wayne County anywhere on the schedule.
OK, for the rumor mill because of not having an Allstar race date. I heard Wayne County is not opening next year because of ............. , you fill in the blanks. ...

It's real easy. Tony sends one of his guys to the track a few weeks before his race and see's what the place is like. Guy reports back to Tony. Tony calls ppms says blah blah blah to mgmt and sends back their deposit. Tony calls another track up and books a date with them and everyone goes racing there. Pretty simple.

If over all payout can be raised for sprint tracks in northern and western Ohio, with it's proximity to population areas of Columbus, Cleveland, Detroit and even Chicago, this year could be the start of something that not only rivals out east racing but surpasses it. Why go on tour when there is opportunity to make a living racing 3 and even four nights a week close to home.

There are drivers out there making their primary living or enough to support themselves, weather or not they need the money, driving sprint cars. Some have family money, money they made on their own and some have other jobs. But IMHO there are drivers out there able to sustain themselves on getting paid for driving.
I'm not talking about the cars or the rest of the team. Thankfully there are people of means who love racing and support it through supplying cars and teams to race. And thank you to the people who run profitable corporations and choose to expand the view of their company to race fans and the general public.
IMHO, there are drivers out East able to make a living driving, helping with setup decisions and working on the car. Some may work on the cars, but I think some do not have too. There's enough racing out East for drivers to get income split of winnings and other help, from racing 3, 4 and even 5 or more nights a week. There able to do it because the general payout if given or split with the driver is enough for the driver to live on. It nets out to some quality drivers out East don't have to go on the road because there's enough racing close to home. Sure you'll see them in Volusia Florida and other places, but their staple and what feeds them is the pay out back home being half decent. Their Outlaw quality drivers, who don't need to go on the road to make a living racing.
One thing you can't argue is unless you go race in California, the Out East area where tracks are located are near the largest population area around. Learnerville is a prime example of potential track success that can alone be sustained because of it's location near a highly populated area. PPMS has the same potential, like the track and it's operation or not.
There are not many drivers from around the Western PA and Eastern Ohio area who do make a living driving, but there are a few. IMHO there are a few in the North Western area of Ohio who can do the same. What my post was indicating is through Allstar and local track promotion, can in the future afford to bring up purses some and allow more drivers to make a living driving Winged Sprint cars. Yes it does matter that there are a good number of tracks in the Western Ohio ares, the same as there are a number in the Eastern Ohio and Western PA area.
It's the show that counts. Help and promote the show and the fans will follow, especially if you live in an area of high or higher population. If you don't then your only going to get quality shows to draw fans, at best a couple of times a year. Our area is not a hot bed of promoters putting on a show for fans, it's a hot bed of leaches sucking and feeding off the racers, KILLING the show for us fans. Yes there is racing discussion pro and con because were all fans on here, racers or not. But if you think back all the crap and bull on here, except for a few who must pull chains and spew their own addenda, is about the show and those who run and FEED OFF OF the show, not the racing.
Yes, IMHO there are drivers in our area who can and do make a living racing Winged Sprint cars. IMHO, there can and would be more if promoters invested more in the show and the LEACHES were removed who feed off the racers.
