and that is still ridiculous. 93 octane at Sunoco is about $3 a gallon. If it works fine that is what should be mandatory. This Sunoco 110 is $8 plus a gallon vp was the same anyone who paid more was getting screwed.

I don't have a dog in the fight and I despise crate racing in any form. All I'm saying is that Stan allowed the VP but u didn't have to run it. I have no clue what this Sunoco costs but price really doesn't matter now cause u have to run it.
Then you ought to shut your trap and excuse yourself from the conversation but I doubt that will happen!

As far as the fuel deal there are a lot of people that are for it and a lot that are against it. Your not gonna hear from the people who are for it on here cause it's not in there best interests to get bashed by the Racestud Rush haters.
I personally am not sure how I feel about it yet. I'm not opposed to a fuel rule but as was mentioned on 4M I think its going to create a lot of problems in the region that haven't even been thought out thoroughly.

I also hate the whole concept, and I've made that quite clear. I can't speak for bmb18 or anyone else on why they might not care for it, but you need to understand that decisions made by RUSH in some way affects all the regional racing, i.e., Lernerville's Sportsman class. Will making teams buy RUSH spec fuel keep people from cheating? I could give a frog's fat ass less, and to me, if they want to keep costs down, there are probably much bigger fish they should be trying to fry. But, the people that attempt to justify it and their arguments are nothing but Emig getting her ass kissed because in the end, no matter how you spin it, the fuel rule is just another money making gimmick. Bend over and grab your ankles for the next, and expect that to be a dry run, too.

IMO until you crate lemmings quit letting your Pied Piper lead you around by your "spec" nose rings you have absolutely nothing to b1tch about....

thats even worse because now you are paying more for a lower octane. What happens when the tracks run out cause they have another fuel to stock? Not everyone is gonna buy drums. It isnt hard to fill two jugs on your way to the track. But you cant do that anymore.. 93 octane at Sunoco is about $3 a gallon. If it works fine that is what should be mandatory......lol , But this is "91" octane fuel that they are pushing.

A question for RUSH, maybe Brad could answer it.
You wrote: "A two completed event burn-off period of other previously permitted fuels will be permitted at each weekly-sanctioned speedway."
For a racer to insure they will pass fuel tech the third race of the season after using up other fuel, what must be done to insure the fuel system will pass tech?
__________________________
From reading of fuel tech in other areas of racing, it appears to me it may take considerable effort cleaning out old fuel from the system to be able to pass tech. I assume you(RUSH) have tested or have been informed by SUNOCO what racers need to do to flush out a fuel system before going to the spec testable fuel.

I have a few more questions for RUSH, I think there valid questions racers might ask of be asked.

What is RUSH 91 octane pump gas?
Is it simply the 91 octane gas you can buy at any SUNOCO station?
____________________
What is inside the test kit which makes the kit able to test for oxygenated fuel?
What might be put into SUNOCO fuel which makes it able to be identified by the test kit?
Could a small quantity of spec fuel added to oxygenated fuel and cause the test kit to pass the fuel?

Have you even read the article..........................
RUSH "91" has an ingredient added that the test kit identifies ......................it has no ethanol which pump gas has........(at least I've never seen Sunoco at the pump that is ethanol free)
Oxygenated fuel won't have the identifier in it
There will be those who will work at finding an additive to fool the test...........
What pisses me off is I can buy 91 octane with no ethanol at my local station for less than the RUSH 91 costs and I don't need to store a barrel at home or pay 3.50 at the track...................
It probably comes from the same refinery as the Sunoco is bottled at
What kind of fuel is refined in warren ?
