"Unfortunately, we weren’t able to unite with Fremont Speedway on common goals for the Series and 410 sprint car racing."

I just got this release and was rather shocked by such!!  Fremont has historically been part of the All Stars for years.  There has to be some things going on here that haven't been made public!!   Such will probably come out in the weeks to come.

But whatever the reason, and which ever party is "at fault",if there is such,  this is not good for Sprint Car racing in Ohio!!

GOOD RACING!!!!

Walt

I agree Walt. It seems like this has the potential to be a Renegade 2.0 thing? I honestly thought if something like this would happen it would come from Atomic since they're behind the new Ohio sprint car series.

The all-stars have been at Freemont since the beginning. It seems that since TSR has taken over the reins he has demanded some changes that some select tracks seem to be reluctant about changing they way they do things. I'm sure they did not want to lose Freemont from the schedule. But, change can be good in the bigger picture. I my opion I think Stewart is biased toward the racer not getting screwed. So after the rumors start flying will hear both sides. I hope they get back to Freemont.

The reason is the Allstars no longer have the $3000 to win shows.Tony told the drivers the ARE NOT permitted to run any shows the night before an Allstars race at the same track.

It has been stated that the All-Stars do not want their cars running the night before a two day show at the same track

it has to do with the 2day shows the all stars want them to pay 5grand to win each night which to me is no big deal a 3grand to win all star show is a joke in that area considering fremont  pays 2500 to win a regular show.

Well you put up the $35000 Friday Allstars money at Fremont the night before if you think it's a joke

My under standing is that Tony went to a lot of these tracks and looked them over. Gave the promoters stuff he wanted to see change. If they track wasnt up to his standard then they would not get a date for 2016.

I have word from a reliable source that the promoter at Fremont was trying to get other Speedweeks tracks to run their races unsanctioned and Tony told him where to go!!   No proof of that, and you won't likely see it in a press release from either the All Stars or Fremont!!!  Look for Steve Barrick at AARN to do some investigative reporting and have a story in next week's paper!!

GOOD RACING!!!

Ppms still has a date...... I highly doubt it has anything to do with conditions of the track/facility.

They have a date with stipulations, those stipulations have to be met or the race will be canceled. Good for Tony, there are many tracks out there that don't maintain their facilities like they should and it becomes a safety issue.

As I stated, Tony Stewart is not going to let the racer get screwed. It was said, on here I mite ad, that Stewart made them do additional track work at ppms. I don't know if he is personally getting out there but changes are happening. It's good for the racer and I'm sure it is noticed. Many tracks across the country try to schedule a non sanctioned race if any touring group is in proximity of there speedway. It is done a lot less these days due to the sanctioning body not paying there show monies or fines.

They've raised the sanction fee $8000. They cut the drivers show money. Not many tracks cannot afford the two day shows. I listened to Farmer on radio lastnight and he said NOTHING negative about the Allstars.
