Ron Trubiani, known on here as "2lazy2register," passed away Thursday evening. His viewing is today until 8pm with the service scheduled for tomorrow. Ron was perhaps best known in the racing community for his business Mary's Racing Collectibles and his time as a driver at the original Motordrome. I believe he started this forum on his website before it moved to Racestud. The family still has a trailer full of memorabilia (die cast cars, t-shirts, etc.) from the early-mid 2000s for those who may be interested. The link to Ron's obituary is attached. God speed

Really great man and his wife was just as great of a person. Would go up in the stands to just check out all his cars even though I knew what he had every week, just to talk.

Ron was always such a friendly person. Some of the retro coupes he made will be around for years as the next generation hears stories of Blackie and Ralph... Those cars will be collectors most sought after cars in years to come. I wish the family the best.

R.I.P  Ron.  I just talk to him a couple weeks ago through email and was planning to stop down and pick up a few diecast blanks.
