Didn't Miller's stock car owner win a brand new late model and I think said he was going to use it racing this year.  Will Miller still be stock?  Will he still run the stock at Lernerville and maybe the Late somewhere else?  I sure do enjoy watching him race and any increase in his on track time will be fun for this fan's.

I don't see them taking two cars to Lernerville.  Where might they run the super if not at Lernerville?  I can't picture them with a crate powered super at Lernerville.  Heck might we hear a high pitched screaming Late this year at Lernerville?  That would be fun!  Same engine, same great driver, lighter brand new car might be fun to watch and see how they do.

Dumb fan question and too lazy to look up and read the rules.

With the state of the art of stocks, could you close up the back end of a crate late, add weight too it and run it within the rules at Lernerville?  I can't tell the difference between stocks and crate lates from the stands on half of them anyhow.

Go look closer. From the stands they appear similar, but that's where it ends. Completely different animals still. Late models are fabricated tube chassis race cars. Stocks are still factory frames/suspension points (arguably) but people are getting more and more creative with what they bolt to the chassis. Still no coil-overs, 4-links, quick change rears, wide-5 hubs, etc. They're definitely not comparable to the point of mixing them together.

I don't come on here and post very often. I normally just read and chuckle to myself about some of the things people say. I feel like I need to respond to the few crate haters who are always on here spewing their hatred towards the crate rule for the stocks. If you don't like the rule and want to express your displeasure about it, fine. Say your piece and move on. But when you are on here calling those who choose to abide by the rules and want to race, jag offs and all the other nonsense you call them.....That's a bunch of crap. Heres how I see it. The division will gain more cars than the few that greencar55 mentioned a few posts ago. And who did the division lose anyhow? the 54 car is a loss. The 64 car only raced there a handful of times last year. I don't know who the 91 car is so no loss there. I assume the 13x car is Moyer who hasn't raced at lernerville for 2 or 3 years. And the last 34 car I remember in stocks at lernerville was Glenn Noland. On top of all of that, Ill bet a years wages that the 20j is back full time before mid season. Id also be willing to bet a pile of money that the stocks will again have the best car count of any division at lernerville or any other track. They will most likely be the only division running b mains. Most guys want to race and are willing to do whatever they need to do to make that happen. So my point to all of this nonsense is this...........Maybe you, Mr. greencar55, are the only real jag off of them all.

The opener usually has good car counts since no other tracks are running just yet.

The 20J I believe would need to go buy a crate motor. ??? Greencar has been loyal to lernerville for years. That class of cars at lernerville has had the largest weekly car count for years. That class, will be the last feature. They have been getting that position forever. Why can't they get moved up one time to showcase there racing. This is a class that should be showcased. These guys have been getting shit on. And after all has been said, some call them names. It will be interesting to see how many cars show up Friday. I say 13 at best.

This is a list of cars I got just looking at the final points standings from last year. I believe most if not all of these guys will run most of the season.

McPhereson

Kelly

Young

Mcdonald

Jeff Miller

Zambotti

Easler

Schreckengost

Byers

Wearing

Burke

Brunnell

Stivenson (Brians dad)

Trestani

Hartman

Piotrowski

Gumbach

Dietz

Also the 91 of Siegel and the 9 of Sipple are new cars ive heard of. That's 20 cars already. Some may not show on opening night because their cars are not ready. Plus there are rumors of some cars from ppms that have purchased crate motors and are planning to run l'ville full time. I think its going to be better than its ever been in the stock division.
