I'm still skeptical of the crate rule, but I don't think that the car count is going to be an issue.  We'll see as the season progresses how the racing is.

I really don't like that this really looks like a back-room kickback deal, but in the end if the racing is good, it will work.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

What I cant figure out is, who gives a sh*t what the order of racing is!!!

Its RACING, and its about time!! As long as there is NO bicycle racing,

I'm good with any order!!!

Quit bitching and race!!!

Exactly Don88, what diff does it make . Head to the track even if it looks like rain or it's gonna be cold . Enjoy whatever the running order is and whoever is there racing.

Just like before there was an internet. And quit calling the people who put on the show names!

As a fan it doesn't bother me one bit what order they run. However, The track can change from the first feature to the last and drivers/crews want to have some idea of what type of track conditions they may encounter come time for their feature race!!

GOOD RACING!!!

Walt

As a person who works for a living and has a 90 minute drive to the track, I do care what the running order is. I am a late model fan. I barely get to the track by 730-745, if no traffic. Nights where they run first I normally stay home as I rarely ever can make it by 730. Im sure others want to know also.

So you don't like racing, you only like late model racing?

so if the late models run first you would stay home because you would miss the heats? who cares about missing the heats.

I think what he's saying is, he's driving 90 miles so he wants to see the races he is most interested in. If a track is in my backyard, I'm a lot more willing to see a partial show than if I am traveling to a race. Good logic or not is a matter of opinion, but I get the point.

Me.  I want to see a much racing as I can.  Also the heats play into how the feature goes.

You don't, therefore nobody else should either.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

I love racing in general, but I like late models the most! I like to get my moneys worth and not just drove a long way to watch a 25 lap feature. I guess you don't see all the people leavening after the late models feature and sprints??? People go to see what they like then leave.

So you'd skip the whole night over 2 or 3 heats? Guess you never been to a pro sporting event when people come in after the first inning quarter period

Maybe you can take a trip to the bookstore when you decide missing a few heats will ruin your night and pick up a dictionary to properly learn how to spell leaving.

I didn't say that either.  I'm just pointing out that some of us like the heats too.
