Not one negative or positive post about Lernerville running after all the storms and all the delays. Is this racestud still!?

Hey, I posted on their fb page, saying Kudos for going for it. Glad they stuck with it. UNlike another truck up north.

If you seen everyone bitching for sharon cancelling when it rained yikes, They tore that track up good. I figured it was going to rain out at Lernerville so we turned around and went back to the shop. Kudos to them for racing.

I was thinking the same thing!!  Pretty much standard for many on here who only like to complain!!!  I think the Tomson Family deserves a lot of credit for running when most tracks would have thrown in the towel!!

GOOD RACING!!!

I wonder how many of the buttnuts who bawled about the dust on opening night made the trip to attend with rain in the forecast, and stuck it out through the rain delay to watch racing on a heavy track.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

Watching Spithaler cooking around the high side was worth sitting through a little rain. Sportsman mods had a good race for the lead too. Good racing overall. Spithalers interview was the best part of the night though

Zambotti climbing the fence was pretty cool. And Dow saying "Let's just stay here and do it, we can stay out of the mud!" I died. lol.

I was out of town, and, believe it or not, I don't go looking for excuses to complain.  Credit where due, Lernerville, under Gary, has been great at getting good shows in when other tracks can't run.  I'm not even a little surprised that the track was ready to go after a rain delay.  Gary's track crew is likely the best in the business.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Way to go Tomson family! Hopefully everything is still going according to their plan and they keep improving the facility! I bet they have learned a lot these past 2 weeks.

j Mercer could learn from this, if the next race was rolling onto the track while the other cars are heading off, and they didn't roll around 3-4 laps before starting the race, maybe they could give the feature winners a chance to speak too !

Timing can always be tough... when I used to travel with the BRP tour, we used to have a "white flag rule" meaning if you weren't lined up for your race prior to the white flag being thrown on the race prior to yours, then you tailed the field... out of respect for the drivers, promoters and the fans we would always push our portion of the show... not sure how often something like this is adopted, but it certainly kept things from dragging... and drivers always did a great job of being attentive. I think we only had to enforce a penalty on that a couple times...

Mercer is doing this now.

Too bad it loses its effectiveness when they take 5 extra pace laps before every race and every caution.
