Nobody even tries anymore?  Went to Fremont with the BOSS series last Saturday , the weather reports the whole way there were saying 60-80% chance of rain, we even thought of heading to Eldora to race.......... It never rained !

That appears to be the case. They should have 3 races a year, the Laboon race, the All Star Sprints and the Pittsburgher.

In Ballville just 3 miles south of Fremont Speedway, there was 2" of rain, at the same time the races were going on. Just Luck, some can more afford the gamble.

I remember going to an All-Star race at Lernerville the night of OJ's ride in the white Bronco. I had seen the radar before I went and knew there was a big storm moving in from NE to SW. You could see it coming in for miles. Well it came in right after time trials got done, rained so GD hard they couldn't start the races till after 10PM, and blew so hard I wouldn't have been surprised if there had been a tornado. Then after the rain stopped Dutko came on the PA and said it never rained a drop 1/4 mile down the road at Don Martin Trucking. Strange stuff like that does happen. But usually if they say 60-80% chance of rain and you don't get wet, you're at one of the few places around that didn't.

There's a snow/rain mix in the overnight forecast for Mercer....definitely not the best night for racing, though the keyboard promoters will say it is!

When in doubt....GAS IT!!

Add hummingbird, Marion Center, and Stateline to the list. Didn't expect any of them to get it in tonight.
