Schedule for Friday's Dow Carnahan Tribute
They will fire sprint cars at 6 pm with hot laps at 6:15.
Hot laps will be Late Models, Modifieds, Sprints and Sportsman.
They ask the teams to bring the first heat to staging at 6:50 and ask all the drivers to be down on the front straight at 7 pm.
7 PM the tribute activities will start
Announcers that will call the racing events:
Don Gamble Late Models
Walt Wimer Modifieds
Mike Dutko Sprints
Randy May Sportsman

I have a feeling that impressive list of announcers will have trouble calling the races tonight. I can't make it, but wish that I could. It should be a great and fitting tribute.
My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.
