OK, I'm sure I missed something, and the rules for the AllStar race were "confusing" to say the least...but here is my question...why wasn't Ryan Blaney in the second segment? Dumb question I am sure.

OK, thanks...don't know why I thought he was in the first segment...fell asleep I guess, and had a dream.

He was in the qualifying race, but I think finished 3rd and they only took two.  Still, pretty good for a "rookie"!!!

He ran a hell of a race in the qualifier. Got the shaft with a pretty lame restart call that put him to the back. If the fans voted based on performance I the qualifier, he would've been in no problem. Instead it's a popularity contest, so Tits McGee gets her free ticket to suck instead of putting a kid in that can put on a show. So refreshing to see Larson, Elliott, and Blaney running so well this year. The sport needs guys like them.

I don't know why I thought he got back up there, I forgot they only took two from the qualifying race. I would have loved to see Larson win and he darn near did...but Logano was just a bit faster...actually I would have preferred anyone over Logano.

Watching Blaney and Elliott in race 1 was great. Blaney getting put to the rear in race 2 was a bummer. Watching Ryan come thru the field and almost take race 2 was dam good racing by that kid. I think he put the best show on. They need a hard charger spot, because he drove his ash off.

The race for cash. Lagano checked out on everyone.

Yes, unfortunately once he got past Larson, he was gone.
