He was the star of the show in his day. His numbers and championships were amazing.

An all time great on the Stateline-Eriez circuit!! R.I P. Bobby
The past month has been a bad one as during that time all time Northeast Modified greats Bill Wimble and Dutch Hoag have both passed away. Hoag won the famed Langhorne race five times, winning on both dirt and pavement, while Wimble was a NASCAR champion. R.I.P. for them as well.

I remember watching Shnars race at the old Wattsburg Speedway in his AMC Javelin!

I would bet that there isn't very many drivers that have won a late model feature in a Rambler ! It took the driver that he raced with when he retired something like 35 more years to break his Stateline late model win total of 79 by 1 win ! Add to that 57 Erie late model wins and another 45 circuit modified wins and one can see why he was one of the greats.
