The Dobs Auto Showdown winner this Saturday will also receive a Pittsburgh Circle Track Club Family membership. It is good for up to 4 members, and those 4 members will receive free admission into every one of the PCTC's 2016 Club Nights, as well as half-off pit admission at most of those club nights.

As far as the driver is concerned, a membership also enters them into the 2016 Pittsburgh Circle Track Club Regional Points Championship in which their 12 best finishes will be scored against other drivers in the Pittsburgh Circle Track Club in their respective division. The points championship culminates in a formal banquet in January. The driver also gains access to club exclusive discounts to businesses such as Animal Graphics & Signs, Schaeffer's Racing Oil, Edge Racing Engines, Lias Tire Speed Shop, Bob Betz Electronics Repair, The Joie of Seating, and RockAuto.com.

Thanks to the Pittsburgh Circle Track Club for being a part of the 2016 Ed Laboon Memorial!

We are also doing a fan vote for best appearing car for a $50 prize from Taylor Auto Body.  I will add a thread on Facebook that afternoon once the cars are beginning to arrive in the pits.  This will also be on Twitter via the PPMS account and my personal account @vincelaboon.  Please use hashtag #ELM when voting.  For the non-social media types, votes will also be tabulated by hand in the PPMS gift shop.  I will announce the winner after the Laboon Race.

PPMS is also giving away 2 Action Event Grandstands passes to a random fan who votes in this contest.  I will be giving away some T shirts as well.

One vote per person.

Thanks for participating!

Hey Davey-

See the attached files. We are doing 3 B mains and are trying to get new cars to tag on and try to make the race. I was able to get some additional sponsors to get another $800 into the NQ race payout. It is now $517 to win and pays very, very well. So essentially the NQ will be a new event with additional cars I hope. We are also doing the dash and obv $3017 to win A main. Can't wait!!

And it keeps getting better....A lot of people, including me, talk about season ending races at various tracks. For whatever reasons and there is many I am sure. You just have to wonder how this race will grow and were it will go from here. Great job Vince, with PPMS rumors, I hope that you continue this race for many seasons and the obvious reasoning.

Sunny and 84 Saturday with no rain!  Finally get to see this race!

New cars, or cars that stayed away last time due to rain- please come tag a B main, which essentially will be a heat race.  Top 3 go to A main.  Remainder go to Dobs NQ race.  Either way you are guaranteed a feature event.  A lot of guys put money into this NQ race so I want to try to get a full field.  Payout is very impressive.  No entry fees.  No registration fees.  Thanks in advance.

I already talked with Matt Miley and they promised me the best track and as little dust possible for Laboon Memorial.Race.  It is definitely on their radars and they responded right away.  No worries here.
