Another great night of racing at the Action Track. Best crowd of the year, I think, 21 Sprints, 17 Super Late Models, 18 Mods, and 19 Sportsman cars. Heats in the Sprints were won by Ralph Engel Jr. (22) and Jack Sodeman Jr. (23). In the Super Late Models, it was Michael Norris (72) and Russ King (56). Jeremiah Shingledecker (37) and Brian Swartzlander (83) took the heat honors in the Mods, with Joey Zambotti (948) and Joe Kelley (66) prevailing in the Sportsman cars.
Track was a little rougher and slicker tonight, but the racing was awesome. Alex Ferree (10) beat Russ King (56), Michael Norris (72), Doug Eck (99) and Tommy Schirnhofer (8). Lots of attrition, I think only 8 cars finished the feature. A.J. Flick (2) outdistanced Dan Kuriger (08), Scott Priester (11), Dan Shetler (7K), and Brandon Matus (13). Mat Williamson (6) came from his 10th starting spot to win going away over Rex King Sr. (65), Rex King Jr. (165), Brian Swartzlander (83), and Dave Murdick (61). Once again, I failed to win the 50/50 which was over $1,600.
