Hello, as per Rick Jones, if we get 24 or more crate late models, for a weekly show, it is $1,000 to win. Street stocks, 18 or more cars for a weekly show, $500 to win. Chargers and 4 cylinders, 18 or more cars for a weekly show, it is $300 to win.

Benny K...You are right on!!!   I am having a rough time getting results from them for my annual #1 Cochran Cavalcade Points.!!   They don't send me anything, nor do they even send to AARN!!  Plus their website is not kept up to date!!   If I can't get results, drivers who run there just won't get their points!!!

Walt

Where is the regular purse listed?

Please post regular purse, or a link to it please Howard. Thanks

Under rules it says RUSH late models, isn't this track now FASTRAK sanctioned?

Points are from last year on website.

No fire crews, drive at your own risk. If your catch on fire it may be the end. Think twice before you race there folks!

Cracks me up. From what I've seen posted on FB they had a total of about 25 cars combined last week. No running water in the bathrooms. Toilets over flowing etc....Someone posted. Pic on Twitter of the line up board and it said if they didn't get car counts up they were gonna plant corn.....Who knows.... I have seen the posts that say they have pretty much done away with the rules in all the classes to try and get a few more cars. That's always been the best way to build your classes. Run what ya brung... Lol. I can say from experience the same thing was done down this way when he promoted Potomac and it might have pulled in a few more cars here and there. In the long run though it just alienated the local cars and drove the cost up even more.

They do have insurance and a firetruck

Is said fire truck set up for all the emergencies that could happen at a race track like fighting fuel fires and entrapment extrication??

Are the people manning said fire truck trained to Pennsylvania standards??

It was the same at Cumberland when Jones was there. As soon as several of the former management's workers left the place fell apart. Really hoping Knob goes the way of Potomac and gets another promoter in there and not the way of Cumberland.

Pennsylvania does not have any set standards for firefighters.

The track communicated that as of this week it is required that your car have a fire suppression system installed on it or you will not be permitted to race.

That is correct. A fire extinguisher or a fire system

Safety First. All the tracks i have been to you had to have a fire extinguisher secured a bar within the drivers reach. If this was not done you did not race,as per track rules.
