Sucks when you get caught, cheapens and devalues all your past accomplishments.I guess their focus will be Lucas series races for a while...oh well.

Well, we can read a press release, if another is forthcoming exonerating these guys, that would be great.

And equally as great of a PR move to immediately appeal.    Of course, there is a slim chance that it was an error, and those are innocent.  Something tells me if a series is in the position of demoralizing someone's career by use of libel, or written defamation which could bear heavy legal consequences, they hopefully have double checked laboratory and chemical analysis.

Last time I appealed a traffic ticket, it wasn't because I was innocent, it was because I hoped for a lesser penalty or a loop hole.    It will all come out in the laundry soon enough.

Really am surprised about Satterlee. But really your implication about this bringing more interest for the Firecracker is just not the kind of interest the real dirt fan wants the sport to be noticed for.

Might all payout to those involved who choose to race between being accused and possibly vindicated, be held back from them pending the outcome of the appeal?  They can allow track provisional's race even though they will not be paid by position.  Why not let those waiting appeal race even though any pay out earned for racing will be held back pending an appeal decision?  When decisions are final, tracks know where to send the checks either to those who successfully win an appeal.  They also know where to mailed additional funds held back from the race to other racers depending on position, because they contract with them as independent contractors.

If they win their appeal, they get paid.  If they don't what they would have received if anything would be appropriately distributed to other racers.

. That is NOT what will happen ..... The suspension will start after the appeal is settled . Maybe it will start in November

Slapping an unaltered tire on a race car gets you the same finishes as keeping your crate engine sealed from GM...

Could it that maybe just maybe there was a fluid leak some where between the haulers and the track that was driven through? I'm not being a wise ass here either. Break fluid could alter a tire a fuel spill possibly  .This is just a point to ponder.
