Went to Sharon on Tuesday for Ohio Speedweek. Understatement to say I was disappointed. Do any tracks apply water anymore?

Was there Tues. and yes it was dusty. I sat in turn one and it was hard to see turn 3-4 at times, but I hardly had any dust on me, I would not have wanted to have been sitting on the backstretch, looked like they needed shovels to leave their seats. It was amazing how much work they did to the track and it only lasted a couple of laps. It could have been worse, they could have ran the mini stocks first !!!

I was there like I've been hundreds or times and yes the dust was pretty bad possibly the worst I've ever seen it. I sat on the back stretch because I couldn't get there till late. That's the first time I've witnessed them rework the track and I'm sure it wouldn't have got done if it wasn't for Tony. But then I did hear Dave Blaney wasn't happy about destroying tires in a B main. Sharon has the potential to be the best track around. The dust makes for a miserable race at times compounded but a surface that doesn't supply good side by side racing the feature was good but it wouldn't have been if the track wouldn't have been reworked. My biggest complaint is compared to some of the other tracks participating in Ohio speed weeks is its $3 more admission for basically one class. When atomic had emods on the card and Wayne county had street stocks which are usually a good show at Wayne county. Just my 2 cents.

Needs some clay on it.  Not sand.

It is hot and sunny and it is a dirt track. How long have you been going to races at a dirt track, this tends to happen.

Let me get this straight. You went to a dirt track and ended up being too dirty?

It was a touch beyond being dirty....being hot and sunny can dry out a track, but it was above and beyond normal mid summer dry.

If you're going to complain about any track being dirty, dusty or whatever, then please stay at home. To go on the internet and complain is just pointless.

Wow! That's almost as bad as the old Ebensburg Speedway days.

But what do you expect for mid-day racing with full sun and high temps....

Exactly, unless we're only going to race in the spring and fall, instances like this one, and Sharon on Tuesday, will happen.

The b mains were dusty as hell but once it shined up then rubbered it wasn't bad. Exactly what you would expect in the daytime with a blazing sun. I still enjoyed it
