Was watching some of the races from Bedford on Facebook Live last night and one of the semi-lates launched over the guard rail and slammed a couple trees.
They never said who it was and if the driver was OK or not.
Anyone hear anything on this??

It was Carl Billetts son Chase, in a limited late, went out over the guarderail in 3 and 4, they said he was uninjured. I never did see them bring the car back in the infield after the wreck.

Was there a explanation on what caused this wreck, part failure or another car?? I want to say jamie lathroum did the same thing a few years back.. but don't think he hit the trees

No explanation that i heard. I happened to look over in turn 4 and saw it hop over the fence without touching the rail.

I was there in the early 90's and a late model launched over the wall and ended up on Rt. 30.
I'm thinking it was Tom Clise.
