Alex Ferree started on the outside pole and won pretty handily over Billy Eash, Tommy Beck and Matt Lux. 5 or 6 cautions in the first 10 laps but none after that. Some cars have no business being on the track in a Super Late.

Not sure why there are only 3 Late Models that are regulars at both Dog Hollow and Marion Center. You'd think since they're so close together and run on different nights, they'd have the same cars.

Mike Blose is//was leading points here but was nowhere to be found tonight.

No on track interviews. Pull in front of the flag stand, take a few pictures, leave. Kind of strange. The announcer had nothing to say and was basically terrible most of the night.

Who wants an autograph?

I always thought it was odd that Hummingbird didn't do winner interviews, it is the only track I have been to that didn't do them.  I've been to tracks where the announcer didn't say much, and I've been to tracks where the announcer should have kept quiet....

Whatever. I'm more curious why Mike Blose wasn't there when he's leading points, why Marion Center and Dog Hollow don't have the same field of Late Models, and whatever happened to Andrew Satterlee.

Also no Dave Blazavich in action tonight.

I believe Blose recently had motor problems (although I can't confirm that 100%) so that may be a factor.
A LOT less guys seem to be running more than one night a week anywhere in the region this year. We could have a huge discussion on all the reasons why. Are they running other tracks or not running at all in this case?

The excuse used to be high gas prices and tire rules... I wonder what it is now.

Racing is really expensive? I don't really think there needs to be another reason

Blose wasn't there last week either. I think they are out for the year I heard.

And I agree with Vigoda, there was 2 or 3 cars there that were hazardous to the quality cars. 2 of the worst are not even regulars there. Ive been to most races there this year and I believe 2 of them was there first night there.

15 LM total I believe.

Also no Dave Blazavich in action tonight.

Blaz18 told me that his brother was only racing one night this season so he could enjoy time with his family and help his son with his kart racing. He also told me when Marion Center dropped the crate late division they decided to run Dog Hollow so they could run both supers and crates.

From what I have seen the only times they have been to Marion Center is when Dog Hollow doesn't race.

The costs of running a SLM have gotten to the point that many have be relegated to only racing 1 night a week. Very difficult to get sponsor dollars, to many tracks, and divisions. Speedway owners are feeling the same crunch. They all have cut back there spending budgets. At one point they would hold out until the last possible chance of any hope to get a race in. Those days are over.

Satterlee just seems to running at Dog Hollow, but not every week. He has a win and a second. It doesn't appear he has run anywhere else much either. He use to come to PPMS, (where he has won several features), but hasn't been there this season either.

I will only be at marion center when dog hollow rains out maybe some of their specials
It is very hard to run two tracks a week and still have time to do things with my family
Dirt is correct on way we are at dog hollow
As far as mike blose I know he lost a motor and it was said he currently doesn't have another one

That is incorrect.     I noticed in the last couple weeks they installed shower curtains over the toilets.

Express, the best place to see full results is on their blog page. Press releases are posted there. Just go to the home page, scroll down till you see the orange B, and click. It will take you to all releases from the past several seasons. Hope that helps.
