The New Stateline Speedway was purchased at the end of last year by partners Jim and Jean Scott and Brian Horner, and has already returned to its premier status. The new ownership has made huge amount of improvements and renovations at the 1/3 mile supertrack. A brand new racing surface, all new lighting, new tech building, concession renovations, and bathroom and bleacher improvements are just some of the tasks they have already accomplished.
“The 60th” will showcase all of their amazing work with one of the region’s highest paying one day events. The Super Late Models will race for $10,060 to win, $500 to start with $200 for non-qualifiers. The Super Late Model championship feature will go 60 laps in honor of the track’s anniversary. A strong payoff has been posted throughout the starting grid in order to attract the best drivers in the region to challenge the ultra-competitive northern tier Super Late Model pilots. Also on the racing program are the E-mods paying $700 to win and the Street Stocks paying $500 to win.
While the drivers are being rewarded with a powerful payoff, fans are being rewarded with bargain ticket pricing. The grandstand ticket price for this event will be only $20.
