Not sure if anyone cares but should be an even better race than last year.  Bell, Abreu, Pierce, Larson, Reddick and Friesen all have the dirt ability and range in anything with wheels.  I am excited to watch, only wish they would televise the entire show.   Local boys with good runs last night with Williamson having the best finish.  Cooter was probably the best of the bunch though.  Surprised Bolland went.

Predictions?????

Another good race this year.  A little more patience from Pierce and the race was his as long as no other yellows came out.  Nice run by Abreu at the end but rough night.  Nascar needs more dirt in its life.

I agree that was a good race. Yes more Nascar on dirt. Looked like a huge crowd was on hand also.

Is it springfield that has the mile dirt track ? WHY NOT TRY ? I know. NASCRAP. You see the shots of the stands, I don't think they have 35% capacity. The truck and nationwide series are a joke as far as the paying fan. Why not Canada ? Why not Mexico ? In this day of piss poor exposure go to the fans that you no are going to come out. It was a great race, It's the largest crowd the truck series plays in front of. DO you think your going to be able to get a ticket for next years truck race at Eldora ?

When Pierce blew the tire off the bead there was zero common sense shown by NASCRAP. They monitor the radio's. They new he was stuck in gear. That kid drove his arsh off, he usually does at Eldora. It stunk, they way they handled that. He needed pushed back 10 ft. so he could get it around to the pits. Yea, he wasn't going to win it, but he also didn't deserve the deal he got. If the fence wasn't there Wallace was going to jump out there and start pushing him back. Tyler Reddick got a shot, Bobbie Pierce deserves one to.

Is Chevy losing Tony Stewart, or is Chevy backing out of NASCRAP ?  The 78 team went Toyota, know TS 3 teams. Or is Hendrick in control of everything Chevy ?

What the heck did NASCAR do wrong to Pierce?? They aren't the ones who pulled a suicide slide job trying to knock down the wall that ended his night. Even IF they would have gotten him to the pits he still would have been multiple laps down.

The kid has loads of talent. He'll win it sooner rather than later.....

IF any other dirt track is to get a NASCAR truck race IMO it would be Knoxville.

I don't know if its the way the trucks handle on dirt or if its most of the drivers being out of their element, but my god, year after year lap after lap, those guys are mangling those trucks just completely driving them into the wall in the turns. It appears only a very select few, like Larson last night know how to drive on the cushion. Its fun to watch because it's different and we're all dirt fans but the quality of racing compared to a field of guys who race on dirt for a living is awful. I don't remember if it was Bell or Rhodes I watched last night shoot up the wall in turn 3 and ride through the turn with the two right side tires on the wall. When was the last time you've seen anybody at the World 100 do that?

DIRT. I do not disagree with you. Yes his race was over. The slide job he was attempting to pull off was great. He just slid up over the cushion and blew the bead off the RR. At any nascar race there are nascar officials that are the only people at the scene of a yellow incident. It clearly showed on TV. There was a crowd around his scene. It looked like a scene you see at every dirt track. I've also seen at many tracks a car put there nose into the inside berm or the wall. What usually happens ? They jump in push the car back and the driver continues if possible. I think the kid deserved that, I think he deserved finishing under the checkered flag. And yes, he probably would have been down multiple laps.
