You are the problem of this sport. Tracks do something positive and people still bring them down. Stop being part of the problem.

So what if the facilities are outdated. This show should be have a very solid regional field, and the gate prices are more than fair. I'm definitely headed up next Saturday.

I guess some of you have never been down to Pensboro when they burned the port a johns and you had to go in the woods?
I am not sure the reasoning behind the combination of the steelblocks and the supers. I think this is going to be one
good show with at least 30 supers.

What they are saying is its a super showcase ,and rather than paying another latemodel class purse so steelblocks are welcome to run with the supers.

Everytime they do that shit gets torn up because some idiot that can't even finish top ten in steel block goes and ends up on the pole in a heat race because of pill draw and junks some good cars.

Maybe the first time you and I agree on anything.  It should be an all Super late aluminum engine show!  Tell the cast iron cowboys to stay at home!  They will have more than enough cars without those guys!

The 48 street stock should be running with the steel block late models where he belongs.

don't blame the steel blocks for this mess, the track is giving all steel blocks points just to be there! this was going to be one of the best races ever at the track but no..the have to screw it all up, now yellow flag fever will ruin the show..do yourself a favor marion center and keep the steel blocks in their own class

I doubt if any big names in the supers would know who has a steel block or not at a track they don't compete at. Also, there are plenty of steel motor cars running at all the Super Late tracks in the area.  Not everyone has a fresh aluminum 430 in their Super Late.

They are running the steel blocks because they are trying to make sure they make enough  money!  I am sure they feel with the steel blocks forced to to show up to stay in the points...they are makeing sure they have a big back gate and can easily  pay the purse/ make a good profit!!  That has allways been the theme song of Marioncenter Speedway!  If any track could afford to take a chance....its them!  Its a family farm that never had a mortgage/rent fixture  from day one! If there is a profitable speedway in this part of the country...it has to be them!  That is why I could never understand why they pay the poorest purse in the area!  What they don't understand is this...They could have this race for only supers and get a great field.. Or they can force the steel blocks in for financial reasons.... and get half the good Supers they would o because of itf!  But get the steel blocks instead, and still get a good field numbers wise!  Its the fans that will be suffering along with the drivers with torn up equipment!  Not a smart move!.. but playing what they feel is "Safe ball"  I wish them well...and hope its a great race for the fans!  Maybe this will prove to them they can have a better paying race and will have more in the future!  Good Luck to all

I'm sure there are some steelblocks that could do just fine at that race, biggest difference is the weight, and are you sure you need big horsepower at that track anyway, from what I've heard its been rough, dry, and slick
