I'm sure there are some steelblocks that could do just fine at that race, biggest difference is the weight, and are you sure you need big horsepower at that track anyway, from what I've heard its been rough, dry, and slick

I think its the driving abilities of some of the steelblocks that run there weekly that have ppl concerned.

They are giving 25 show up points for steel blocks to come Saturday. Total BS move to basically force any steel block car that is competing for points to show up. Typical Marion Center BS. They could have an awesome super LM race Saturday, but they are choosing to go this route instead because they want to line their pockets more.

Of course if points mean anything to some of these drivers. I'd say most don't care about points.

I'd say the only ones that would really care about points would be the 222, 12, and 11P. All three of those cars get around MC pretty well and certainly wouldn't be a hazard to anyone.

Anybody know who is planning on showing up? Could we see Gregg Satterlee, King, Ferree? I'm guessing you'll see Blair, Joe Martin, and a handful of other non regulars.

Ferree has been there 3 weeks straight for regular shows so id say he will be there. Blair is coming, along with Satterlee. Would imagine Matt Lux and Jared Miley will be there too.

I have to say CHEVY1A its the UNability that some drivers have that is a concern.
If the steelblocks are competitive thats a different thing but if they are not
use to racing with the faster supers, they could get run over.
