[Ring Gear]

I see the WRG has upheld their 2nd appeal and has upheld their decision.  The difference being to shorten the length of the suspensions as was expected.

 

Look for most to just move on, but don't hold your breath if you expect Gregg Satterlee and Brandon Sheppard to roll over and play dead in this matter.

 

Just too much at stake for these 2 to be labeled as "Cheaters".   Watch as the next step in the process will probably be a move into the Court System for sure.

 

Bloomquist, Owens, and others have been guilty as charged before and this crap

really means nothing to them and they will just let it slide as they have done before and just move on..

 

Don't look for the same from Gregg Satterlee and Brandon Sheppard..  This deal is much too inportent to them.  Being labeled a "cheater" is a false testimony as to their character without the unwavering burden of proof which has not been established by the WRG...

 

Go get 'em Gregg Satterlee and Brandon Sheppard ...

 

You will always have your Nay-Sayers ... Oh, they were paid off and every excuse under the sun... But when it comes right down too it... The "Truth" will prevail..

 

As always it is just my honest opinion and still a fan of these two up and comers.

Sorry BUB but the proof as they say "Is in the pudding" The poor lad was darn near slower than a street stock at Stateline Speedway on Thursday Night ! His time trial speed was laughable, He kept spinning out and ended up heading home after spinning out for the last time in a B main. He couldn't even overtake a 10 year old home grown late model that has been front and rear clipped about 4 times with a basement built 355 for an engine. The guys sitting near us said "Right there is live PROOF that all of the good runs that he had was because he was all cheated on up. Make him run legal and he cant outrun the slowest car in the tri-state area" !                I'm sorry but the "TRUTH" looked like he was DRUNK on GIN and VERMOUTH !

I'm not supporting cheating, but the kid is talented. To discredit anything he has accomplished is crazy. He is allowed to have an off night. And I am rather certain, that he will win a few races by the seasons end. Every single racer car driver bends and breaks the rules one way or another.

NASCRAP Dirt, or Dirt Megacorp Inc., or whatever they're calling themselves this year has all the evidence, and it would be up to Satterlle to prove that he didn't dope his tires.  Of course it could be done by buying tires at WoO event and having some yokel buy the same tire and sending them both out to a lab and compared.  Satterlee's lawyer could argue that the discrepancy in the compounds between what they sell series regulars and locals is evidence that the tires are significantly different from tire to tire, which would also illustrate that the WRG drivers have a sanctioned advantage, and leave WRG with egg on their face.  But I don't see that happening, as it would make Satterlee an outsider to the tours.

I agree with berserker. And sure he has had his good runs but there will always be a question in the back of some peoples minds as to whether or not it was on the up and up. And as far as having an off night, yes all drivers have them but they at least usually go out with a bang by crashing it, blowing it up, or stuffing into the wall. Not by constantly spinning out while trying to keep up with the perennial back markers!

Yoder ran even worse at Stateline but won at Hagerstown the next night. Satterlee was up from at Hagerstown the next night but flipped. I dont think his performance at Stateline had anything to do with (lack of tire) soaking as lack of track experience.

Do any tracks here actually check fir soaking anyhow? How could he be labeled a cheater if these tracks don't check for it anyhow.

Leave it alone. So they got caught with a tire. Every racer out there bends the rules if and when it's possible.  There team won't be the last.

It amazes me more that Bloomquist and Owens were caught with soaked tires. How many times does that make it for them ? is it hurting there reputations ? Naaa, I don't think so. So if those 2 were caught AGAIN. How many races were they NOT caught. 2 years ago when Owens was on top of his game was it because he just didn't get caught ? Bending rules is what gives racers advantages, it always has and always will...

Yeah some racers BEND the rules to the edges of the envelope to interpret the rules to the extent of the line but don't go over that line. But when somebody does something that is clearly down in black and white such as not using tire softener then that is just plain blatant cheating!   BTW Squirrely Hill mentioned that Yoder flipped at Haggy while having a bad night. At least he went out in a blazé of glory and not looping around in circles with the field fillers in the c main !!

That tells me that he was giving his all up to that point and not looking embarrassing to his fans by just being out there spinning in circles on both on each corner of the track as what was going on last Thursday night !

I have seen this team one night shit the bed and then the next night win easily. Maybe they are trying different
set ups?
Bloomquist and Owens hometowns probably dont even know about any rule violations, where Greggs hometown does.
All the hard work that Gregg and his family and team have done to get him this far has been tarnished, is what I was
stating. Not that it should be swept under the rug.
And really it never crossed my mind about the rule infraction when he has been racing since his tires were confiscated.
It just hasnt been an issue in my mind, until someone makes a smartass comment about it.
