Deming Wins 1st Career Feature Win Along With Four Repeat Winners
Chad Silleman and Jeremy Wonderling led the Vavalos Bar and Restaurant Rush Late Models to the green flag, Wonderling jumped to the lead with Silleman in second. The would fight it out side by side until Silleman would take the lead on lap six, going into turn one there was contact resulting in Silleman going to the rear and Wonderling being sent to the pits. Andy Michael would inherit the lead and hold onto it for the rest of the race. Silleman would come back to second followed by Matt Ford, Sherman Gage and Bill Messler rounding out the top five.
The Henry H. Hill Napa Street Stocks would see Scott Tubbs and Adam Peterson lead the field to the green with Peterson jumping to the early lead. On lap three Critter Hemphill would take the lead and hold onto it until Bob McMillen took over the top spot on lap nine. McMillen would lead the rest of the way followed by Hemphill, Peterson, Rich Wojtowicz and Tubbs rounding out the top five.
The Duke Center Superette Pure Stocks saw James Weatherley and Billy Deming lead the field to the green with Deming jumping out to the lead. Deming would hold onto the lead all the way to the checkers earning his first career win. Rounding out the top five were. Josh Wilcox, Mike Parmenter, last place starting Bruno Mowrey, and Tim Steis.
John Grimm Sr. and Richard Kline would lead the Tasta Pizza of Bradford and Limestone Mini Stocks to the green flag with Kline taking the lead. He would hold onto that lead for thirteen laps until Dave Lowe took over for the next two laps. On lap 16, CJ Irons would take the over the lead however contact would drop Irons to third and Lowe to the pits. Eric Canfield would inherit the lead which he would keep for the rest of the race. Rounding out the top five were, Brandon Buchanan, Irons, Kline, and Grimm.
The Derrick City Diner Kids Class Mini Stocks would see Dylan Edminster and Josh Isaman lead the field to the green. Isaman would take the lead at the start and cruise to his second win of the season. Canfiled would get by Edminster on lap ten, with them staying in the order until the finish with Dusty Skinner and Devon Tarr rounding out the top five.
Do not forget next Sunday, July 31st will mark the return of the ULMS Super Late Models to Old Bradford Speedway. Pit gates will open at 3:00 Grandstands at 3:30. Pit passes are $30.00. Grandstands are $15.00 for adults, ages 10 – 16 are $10.00 and kids under 10 are free. We will also offer a family pass for $40 this includes 2 adults and up to 4 kids. Come check out the thrill on the Hill Sundays at 6 pm.
