I can totally understand having a bad night but. No announcer? Lights go out half way thru the show. Once again only one tow truck trying to do the work of two but worst of all... NO AMERICAN FLAG OR NATIONAL ANTHEM. I hope you guys use the next 4 weeks off to get your act together for the Eric Witherite special. I've seen some damn good racing and track prep this year but just like last year. The end of the season is bad. I will give you credit though. You raced the entire season this year. Great place to go watch racing when their game is on.

First let me address the no announcer  question. The night before (Thursday Night) we had huge bad storms roll through. Some pretty bad lightning and torrents of rain. The lightning struck at the track and put out the whole PA System. In the words of the announcer "It was fried". So I guess that answers why no National Anthem as well. I can't answer about why they didn't raise the flag even though no Anthem could be played.

They did wonders with a track that just the night before was totally underwater. Another quote . "At midnight you could have Kayaked across the track."

Only the lights at turn one went out because that one breaker overheated and shut down. As soon as it cooled enough the lights came back up and the race resumed.

Maybe the other wrecker was on another job. I don't know for sure but before I would cry about it I would think that for some reason the other one could not be there.

I can not answer everyone's questions because I don't have anything to do with the track. I just go to watch the action.

I will give the staff credit for doing what they could to get the night in after a very bad night of weather that was unrelenting for quite some time.

I guess they had no way to announce that the PA system was fried. I'll give you that. The wreckers always seem to be an issue at this track. Crossover to the other side of the county and wreckers aren't an issue. If someone can't show up call and get a replacement. It's not brain surgery. It would make more sense to me than making 600 people wait for the one lonely wrecker to clean up the carnage. It is a business. Run it like one. If Brookville Chevrolet can't get oil to do oil changes from Napa. They don't stop doing them. They buy their oil from Miller's. Not raising the American flag is an insult to all our veterans who fought for our freedom. Totally unacceptable.

Get an old tractor with a 3-point hitch and make your own wrecker like Challenger did while it was running.

Offer area towing companies free food and passes for their services. I know there are many towing services in the Brookville, Punxsutawney, Brockway, DuBois areas.

As I said before. I can not answer the question of wreckers. I was just trying to point out that as I sit in the stands and see that something is different or seems out of place, before I jump on the bashing bandwagon I at least try to think rationally. That means unless I would talk to staff directly to ask why only one wrecker,I would not assume that it is an issue. Not my business. Maybe he could have called in some other company to assist. I don't know, I didn't ask him. Maybe he did try to get another wrecker and couldn't. I don't know, I didn't ask him.And what you find wrong at one track you will find wrong at all tracks from time to time. No track is perfect and no track is without it's problems.

Just be glad he even ran and stop crying about it .  And not having to listen to their announcer would be a blessing.

Lights went out the night the ran 410s, gave the same reason. You think that would be a problem that would have been fixed being the business there in, running at night and all. Just saying not bashing!
