Was wondering why its called the Mark Mealey
special instead of always being the Mic Orshic memorial?

I find it interesting why tracks don't support the teams that support them. This is a case in point. Why if all year, the steel blocks ran there and now you have a special that allows a class that didn't support your track all year. And to allow the faster cars to run with a class that is slower? I am not saying this is wrong maybe car count or some other reason warrants this but it doesn't seem fair to a class that supports you all year.

I think if you look at the history of Hummingbird's year end late model specials the Hummingbird regulars have won more than or just as many times as the invading super late drivers have.

It's called a open late model special. This isn't something new there it's been this way for years. Hummingbird is the best track I have ever seen for equalizing steel block vs. aluminum block cars.

Unless they plan on running this show on sunday they probably wont get it in,according to the weather, rescheduling for another weekend would only hurt car and fan counts with all the other races upcoming.
