The folks over at Jennerstown have done a good job of growing their product. The crowds have been fantastic, but when they re-opened car counts were awful. They have plugged away and seen a nice increase in all divisions. Late Models had 7 or 8 last year and have been up to 14 this year. Mods saw 5 cars a few times last year with most nights being 7 or 8. They had 15 on Saturday. Street Stocks from 10 up to 17, 4 cylinders from 12 up to over 20 several nights and lastly chargers going from 6 or 7 up to 13. Hope to continue to see the growth.

It's great to hear something good about a track on here.

Yes, Jennerstown has done a great job of increasing car counts in a time that pavement racing in western PA was almost dead.  Now they are getting better car counts than some dirt tracks in the area, especially in the Street Stocks.....17 for their final race of the year last Saturday.

GOOD RACING TO ALL!!!

I think they have a pretty good business model. They give away TONS of tickets, get literally thousands of people in the stands (a lot aren't even fans), and sell tons of food. Most importantly, they sell billboard space, which is way easier when you have a big crowd looking at those billboards. Those advertising dollars pay no matter the weather, car count, purse, etc. I think a lot of dirt tracks could learn from that. A lot harder to get the non-fan to try a dirt track though.

I agree.  we went down for the supercup race and had a really nice night.  They are really working hard and it is nice to see positive results for a track.

The car's perfect Harry!.

I am not sure how many tickets they give away but the place was packed the end of the year. Even if they gave away all tickets they would have to be bringing in a killing in concessions. Was not a huge asphalt fan before going this year but the quality of racing was impressive. Fairly competitive across all divisions.
