I have to say again there was some really great racing all weekend long. UFO and Dog Hollow really did a good job. It would have been even better if you used transponders, it would run alot faster and smoother.
The only really negative thing all weekend was the incident on Friday when a #58 flipped, and the track just flipping over the car with the driver in it. Not only for the safety of the driver but liability for the track, a tow truck to slowly let the car down AFTER getting the driver out, would have been a better
solution. Even if the driver said he was all right, all precautions should have been taken to ensure the safety of the driver.

I thought the track did really well scoring and getting folks lined up. Seen tracks with transponders take longer.

Most of the time I noticed under caution was from picking up pieces or only having one tow truck.

I enjoyed myself all weekend from the racing to the camping with friends.

I also have a ton of respect for a Promoter that goes out onto the track during intros and shakes every drivers hands.

At the drivers meeting Saturday it was mentioned about people sharing pit bands or sneaking into the pits. That's a pretty low blow to do that to a Promoter.

I think joe the driver of the 58 asked them to flip the car over so he could get out he is a big guy I don't believe he could get out upside down

A lot of people talk about the tire rule at lernerville. My comment to that is, Dog Hollow had a dam nice field of cars. In today's racing of such tight budgets I think it is clearly visible the tire rule is hurting them for certain shows. What tires are they required to run during the stampede ? It will be interesting to see the car count. There are many good regional teams out there, do you really need the national series anymore to draw fans anymore ?

From what I understand, the driver was having some difficulty exiting the car and requested that it be rolled over with him in it.   While there is some risk of injury in doing that, keep in mind the two horrible fiery accidents this year with cars upside down and the drivers trapped inside.

Didn't stay for the crate race to see that.

Can't please everyone.

I can't say anything negative about Dan but I will say that I would have more respect for a promoter that walked through the pits, out of the limelight, and shook hands with all of the competitors not just the ones who made the big race.
