Racing was truly his life, from the local dirt track (Eriez) to the largest NASCAR ovals, form driver/mechanic to owner of a shock absorber company that supplied parts and technical information to the nation. I'll remember most the conversation he and I had at Syracuse when he had been working with Bobby Allison on the Winston Cup cars. He gave the inside scoop on how NASCAR really operated, explaining how things really happen, not what you read or hear in the news. RIP, Mike. You will be missed by all!!

I remember when he left Carrerra and so many of the DLM stars liked him and his work so well that they boycotted the company and followed mike to Pro shocks. Mike was on Bobby Allisons crew for a Daytona 500 win.
