For those of us that are happy to see the track remain open, but don't get there very often could someone fill us in on who Robby Leonard is?  No disrespect intended whatsoever.  I like the track, but it's too far away to go more than once a year or so, and I like to stay informed.

He is someone that loves the sport, he has enough backing to proceed and hopefully be able to succeed were others have not. Good luck in moving forward I say.

He is owner of the late model run mostly by Jason witherite this past season, and was a big part in putting together the Eric witherite memorial race at the end of the year at thunder mountain.

I wish him all the best of luck and am glad to see Thunder Mountain remain open. I am however curious to see if he continues to field a car while promoting the track that was the primary home of his car in the past. That can be a slippery slope is all I'm gonna say.

He has already stated that he is stepping away from the race car for this very reason. A good move, I agree. Running a track is a full time job itself.
