40 pounds isn't gonna make a damn difference at a track like Hummingbird. Guys just need to get over it and work on making their cars better. Set your car up correct and get it tuned to the driver and that little extra weight won't mean anything.

The web page still says $600 to win for lates. If they don't up that they're not going to get any aluminumn block cars anyway.

40 lbs. my block compared to a new aluminum is 115lbs. No way I could get to 2400 and have correct numbers let alone 2300

Getting through a feature at Hummingbird is 75% keeping out of wrecks, 20% driver talent, and 5% everything else.      There are only 2-3 regulars there who if starting in the rear have a decent chance to move to the front without getting caught up in the cruisers or hot heads.

what's your block made of tungsten? lol, I know guys running bowtie blocks with a 180 lbs driver that can get to 2380 with no lead.
