Mark Richards Racing, Inc. and Best Performance Motorsports partner for 2017 Season

Shinnston, WV, November 16, 2016 Mark Richards Racing, Inc. (MRRI), the 2016 World of Outlaws Champion car owner and driver Josh Richards have agreed to partner together for the 2017 season with Best Performance Motorsports. (Josh)Richards will race for Best Performance Motorsports team during the 2017 season out of their St Marys, Ohio race shop.

Best Performance Motorsports team owner Eric Brock and I have reached an agreement for Josh (Richards) to drive the Best Performance Motorsports super dirt late model in 2017. mentioned Mark Richards. I cant stress enough that Josh is still an important member of the Rocket Chassis family and feel that this is a great scenario for both organizations. We wish Josh nothing but the best for next year.

In addition to car owner duties on the #1 Valvoline/Seubert Calf Ranches Rocket Chassis house car, Mark will also serve as a consultant/advisor on the Best Performance Motorsports super dirt late model.

The driver, schedule, sponsors and crew members of the #1 Valvoline/Seubert Calf Ranches Rocket Chassis house car has been finalized and will be announced soon.

People argue that Rocket is not " The Best " but Kid rocket was killing them in a Rocket Before he got sick and now that he is back ... He is Kicking but in a Rocket .... Again

He is fast. There is little doubt about that. I wish they would run more lucas races. Can't be everywhere, so who will get the house car seat ?

Guessing Josh will be running Lucas now and the Rocket house car on the Woo circuit with possibly Bshepp.

he would be one of the drivers directly responsible for putting Rocket on the map..'97 they moved the left rear shock behind the axle and took that #68 car down south effectively cleaning the good old GRT boys in their own backyard winning the "Dixie Shootout"..the orders have been rolling in since.
hard to believe that's been 20 years,I still have the side from that car on my garage wall..part of my Rocket history collection that will someday be worth millions! lol..

He was the first one to do it, and that's when GRTs took over the DLM world.

He was the first one to do it, and that's when GRTs took over the DLM world.


I believe the 2nd race he tried it at was the Hav-A-Tampa race at Pittsburgh that he won. After he won that race folks got pretty suspicious then everybody started doing it once they found out what he was doing.
