I HEARD RUMOR THAT BLANKET HILL SPEEDWAY IS REOPENING , CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS?
Highly doubt it. Did a little asking around and got some pictures of the track. Everything is all grown up and falling apart. Would take a lot to make it capable of racing again.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Or a micro track I would think.
Missy Gardina did a great job with the place. She put her heart, and much of her own money into it. She was actively promoting the track, and then the drivers wanted to her to pay out more, and she put the lease up for grabs. That was the beginning of the end.
