 As it stands there is a $25.00 fee (The malls fee) to register for the mall show. ( I don't care for that and I am working on several optionst at the moment)

 

I would like to have a meet the drivers night the Friday night of the show. 

 

I will have more details available next week as well as registration forms..

 

Tentative Date would be March 27-April 2 but that needs to be finalized with the mall  administration.

Or mail it to 35 Kirk Street Curwensville, PA 16833.... Where it says amount.. If you are bringing a vehicle to show please fill in the $25 amount.. BUT do not send any payment...

Kick off your 2017 racing season with the DuBois Mall Race Car Show. Come see the beautiful racing machines before they hit the track and get dirty.

Sorry that we have been so quiet but since racing season has officially begun we will less quiet. We will have a few more announcements plus a preliminary list of racers who will be in attendance coming soon !!!

This should be a great show, as of now most of the cars are FREE
Could be an opportunity to help the sport grow
We the racers should do something to help make the show special,
Like maybe donate some door prizes , or ??

Hey Everyone... Just following up on our post from earlier..
I'm listing below our tentative list... Most of these are people I've spoke with and said their cars are coming.. As of right now, I only have about 5-6 registrations turned in..

Also I'm looking for ideas as to what you all think of a "meet the drivers" or a "fan appreciation" type event on Saturday afternoon/evening.

There will be two major awards
A "Best of Show" which will be voted on by a panel of judges.
And a "Fans choice" which will be whoever gets the most overall votes in a ballot box we will have set up..
If you have cards or literature for your sponsors, I encourage you do bring it and display it with your ride..
Thank you everyone for the interest and feedback.. I'm really excited to see what you all have to display.. Let's pack this place!

Hey everyone our show is coming quickly!

We have had a GREAT verbal response from many racers who would like to display their stuff, well over the allotted amount of spots..
We really need registrations to know who is coming.
Without the registrations we will have to do first come first serve.. I really don't want it to happen that way, because I would hate to have to turn cars away.. I have about 12 signed registrations right now.. email them, Fill them out text me a pic, or snail mail them.. but let's get them in please..

Couple more weeks! Who's ready?! For me as a fan and a racer. This has always been the kickoff for our local season... Years ago when Clearfield Speedway, Hidden Valley, and Hummingbird were all a part of this show there were cars everywhere. That is my hope for this years show!
We will have Thunder Mountain, and Hummingbird tracks there as well as Representatives from Flat Run and Race 1 Kart tracks. Can't wait to see everyone... Let's kick our season off with a huge turnout!!

Ok everyone, Question... We are still trying too figure out how to do a fan appreciation/meet the drivers. What do you all think is best, have drivers at a table or standing in the vicinity of their cars?

Hotrod9, in my op i think the drivers next to their cars would give the fans a more up close when getting a to meet the drivers. Glad you"r getting a good turn out of cars. Best to all drivers up that way this season HAVE FUN and BE SAFE.

Good Afternoon everyone..
as the day went yesterday I was editing the list of cars that will be attending. The list is of big cars, There will also be some Karts and a group of RC racers there as well.. We are working on a list of those names.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances Flat Run Speedway will not be able to have a table set up.

If Everyone on yesterdays list attends we are at our max capacity that the mall allowed us.

Racers, If you haven't sent in a registration I will have some the day we push in. ALSO with this many cars pushing in we have contacted Bob Beck to bring his 4 wheeler to help push cars in the parking lot. Please don't try to cram all the trucks and trailers in from of the entrance.

Also, Penny Kay will be there taking photos as we push in and get the cars set in place.. She always posts her photo's online.. IF you use or share them.. Please give credit.

Sponsors.. Please get in touch with me. If at all possible I would like to have all sponsorship money in by next Wed the 22nd.

Afternoon everyone!!! Pretty excited about this, so I figured I'd share.

Please note there are no guarantees but... after yesterday and today I emailed the mall to see if with some of the empty storefronts, if it is possible to fit more than 35 cars... Once I know for sure if we can I will let everyone know... Wall to wall race cars!!! Man I'm pumped!! Ok everyone.. So here's the next thing... The week before our show, there is a boat show. The boats will be coming out the night we go in. When you arrive please don't jam up the exit areas. I've asked Bob beck to come push cars to the door with his 4 wheeler. This way no one has to worry about "Getting close to the doors"
