All are valid points. X, with lernerville you hit the nail on the head. with today's declining car counts one has to wonder if running 3 top classes every week is the right choice. for the paying customer lernerville has long been my go to track. I am guilty of always comparing other tracks to lernerville,

Lenerville's car counts in all four classes rank right up there circuit wide, so I see no need to change their traditional program!!

IMHO: The following is provided for your consideration. With Lernerville being the exception to the rule by running the "Top 3" it would pose a significant challenge for them to pay (the following) all three classes similarly at this level. I believe the result would see the grandstand admission climbing to $20 for this level of "regular show".

That said, two of the three divisions could realistically be accomplished. Then comes the question which two? In the alternative, does it require rotation between two with one division being the constant. The other aspect of this concept is return the starting fields to 24; especially for Lernerville. Additional food for thought is, this is why our eastern and northern friends have elevated either Sprint cars or big block modified purses into the stata. The sprints out east (central Pennsylvania) are the "only" top division and further north and east it is "only" the big blocks.

This idea is not a singularly focused point. The costs for everyone in racing continues to escalate for the fans, drivers and promoters with the latter two enduring the most risk. This triad needs each other because without anyone of these three components the track will cease to exist; which could be a slow and agonizing demise to an abrupt closing. Dirt racing at every level has continued to evolve. With that evolution the associated cost for the competitors being what it is, has been escalating for decades while the purses have been relatively static.

Given the forgoing, here is my suggestion to improve both the quanity and quality of fields while providing fans a show worthy of their hard earned dollar yet still providing the promoter an opportunity it to make money. It truly takes all three parties to make this deal we enjoy successful.

Keeping up with everyone else used to be not good enough, unacceptable even.  Statements like this illustrate the of lowering the bar.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.
