Does anyone know if there will be an adjustment to the payout for Marion Center since they increased the price of admission?
The folks who called the office and asked might know. Try asking one of them. Or being one of them.
If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

Site says 12 for stands, 25 for pits, isnt that what its been for a while now?

It's a shame that it won't change. One of the nicer tracks in the area IMO but worst payout. Can't justify towing the extra distance for the same pit fee as hummingbird and less payout.

They have to pay the micros somehow, place will be standing room only with them there weekly

LMFAO! That's about as funny as the snowflakes that think Hillary won. They dropped the fwd class. I'm sure some money was free'd up there. I'm not complaining just facing facts. I can't afford to lose money every weekend. I'll go to hummingbird where I at least always break even

When u figure in what u have invested in your car from when u built/bought it, spend through the season, your never coming out ahead unless u have someone else footing the bill.

In 4 years I have $10k invested in 2 motors and 2 cars. I treat my car like a business. I buy sell and trade a lot to keep the costs down. But in those 4 years of racing I have made a third of my money back. I probably will never break even or even profit from racing unless I get really good, but I'm not breaking the bank either. I'm out there having a good time turning more laps than wrenches and bringing the car home in one piece. I use old second and third hand tires that only hold air for a night, but again I'm not breaking the bank. That's all I mean when I say I won't be going there for peanuts. Hummingbird I can afford to finish 10th and break even. Marion Center if I finished 10th I'd be in the hole $30-40 still not bad but I'd be dumb to not take the money

OK. I'll ask, 10K, 2 cars, 2 motors. What class are you running ? If you can keep them on the track that's what matters.

Ran a pure stock for 2 years through a series of trades moved up to Streets. Been competitive. Just been smart in managing my money
