Anyone know how the new surface held up?

I was there 4-4:30 it looked good but got very dusty. But it was 75 windy

It looks like it should get plenty of water towards the end of the week.

what ever happened to composting the clay ?.......best surface I ever raced on had wood chips and saw dust growing out of it and it held moisture like a sponge.....never any dust and 3 grooves all night long.........

A few years ago Lernerville used to mix sawdust every week in the dirt. I do not believe that they do it anymore as I have not seen any piles of sawdust at the track within the last year or two.

The surface was pretty hard. Clumps that came out of cars tires after coming off the track were like concrete. It was rough on tired and really dry at the top. They said it was really wet underneath and they couldn't grade it toll they got cars on it to pack it in a bit. It should hopefully come around.
