It was great to be back at Lernerville on a Friday night.  Track was in great shape all evening.  Considering the chilly weather and the Lucas Oil race up the road at Sharon, there was a pretty good crowd.  The 50/50 was over $1000.  There were 32 Sprints cars, 15 Big Block Mods, 22 Sportsmen (now Pro Stocks), and 24 Rush Mods.  Logan Wagner (7W) won the Sprint feature over Caleb Helms (17) and Carl Bowser (98).  In the Big Block Mods it was Mat Williamson (6) over Brian Swartzlander (83) and Rex King Jr. (165).  Corey McPherson (c33) came from the 12th starting spot to the front by lap 7 and went on to an easy win over Joey Zambotti (948) and Tyler Dietz (35).  Heat winners tonight in the Sprints were Logan Wagner (7W), Dan Kuriger (08), Brandon Matus (13), and George Hobaugh Jr. (40).  In the Big Block Mods, heats went to Rick Regalski (13R) and Rex King Jr. (165).  In the Pro Stocks the winners were Joe Kelley (66) and Corey McPherson (c33).  Finally, heat winners in the Rush Mods were Kyle Martel (8), Kenny Hardy (28), and Rocky Kugel (83).  Rocky Kugel won the Rush Mod feature ahead of Kole Holden (2), and Kyle Martel (8).

Fosnaught got jacked, or he could have been in the mix. Kelly came down on him from the marbles and spun and Jimmy drove through, just like any other driver would have, but Jimmy got sent to the back too, and then got caught up in all the garbage wrecks. The favoritism for Kelly needs to stop.

Whatever you say Joe. You are an ass. Do you ever wonder why everyone boos you all the time, and cheers when you wreck? Corey wins way more than you and doesn't get the boos you do. I'm not one to just insult people, but I would really love to see the racing without you wrecking the better drivers.

At best, Joe, you got into each other with no malice, (not exactly consistent with your history), and only you stopped, so you go to the tail and Jimmy gets his spot back, unless there is favoritism from the track. The Thomsons aren't Gary. They just might get tired of you wrecking people all over the place.

IDK, they're still learning. Still doing some things like Gary, but less and less.

I fully understand that it's a dirt track and rubbing and bumping happens. I also know that there's a difference between that and intentionally spinning someone because you usually get away with it. How often does Corey send someone else around? How often does he win? How about Matt Williamson?  Bob Wearing wound up with Bobby's wheel cover once, but they never took each other out, or even spun each other. That's good, hard racing. Just spinning someone so you don't have to pass them, or can't pass them isn't the same thing. If one driver can spin someone, drive through and keep his spot, another driver should be able to keep his spot after driving through someone else spinning.  They were three wide.  Kelley wound up sideways and came to a stop. One car stopped, and unless there was more evidence of intent than Kelly gets away with every time, only one car goes to the back. If it was reversed that's what would have happened, and we all know it.

I'd say flash is looking for a track job and fanjim is getting way too worked up.

Yeah, I probably was. I guess racing is one of the last sources of fun I have left at the moment.  That will change soon, for the better. I don't like when a good race is ruined by a guy taking out drivers with a chance of making it interesting. I like the competition, driver and machine against driver and machine, not front bumper and rub rails busting up equipment and taking the competition out of it.

But I guess it beats just talking about someone behind his back, in the stands. Now Joe knows how I feel. I'll even give my real name for the sake of fairness. Now I wish he would clean up his act or retire.

Can't get the video to upload. It's on my Facebook page. Looks to me like good close racing. Exactly what we as drivers try doing.

Looks to me that Joe bounced off the wall and hit Jim don't think the black flag should have come out. I don't think either was at fault just a racing deal. The black flag does need to come out more often, one guy I won't name is pounding off people every week and nothing is done. Last year he T boned a guy intentionally and nothing was done he should have been thrown out for at least 2 weeks. JMO

Didn't look like either driver did anything intentional. Did they actually black flag the 20j and make him pull off? I also have no idea what 24's problem with Joe was in that incident.
