All Star races are postponed for Lernerville and Mercer for Friday June 2 and Saturday June 3. Pray we get some great weather and tons of sprint cars in the pits.

Nobody threw me out. I retired after 38 years announcing races. The new announcer is Jim Balentine. He has been around the sport for a long time, has great knowledge of the history of racing in our area, and will do a great job announcing at Mercer.

I don't see what all the hate for Mike Dutko is. I liked his announcing, at Mercer and Lernerville. He's made some statements that I disagree with, but that happens. Jim Balentine is doing a great job in the booth at Mercer now.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Because.... it gives them something to bitch about. 38 yrs is a long time mike. Enjoy your retirement, I hope you are still making it to the tracks. Go have a beer with Walt and laugh about the good Ole days

No matter which class of cars you prefer and what you go to Mercer to watch, Jim with his colorful commentary makes it impossible not to watch every race.
