I see they only had 21 cars in Tennessee last night. A few were Lucas Oil cars or the count would have been in the teens. Why is Lucas doing so much better than WOO?

Lucas had 23 cars at Tazewell like a month ago. It's not a WoO problem, it's a Tazewell problem

Tazewell never attracts many cars. Even the 25k Scorchers they used to have there barely drew a full field. Cool track, but racers don't seem to like it all that much.

Tennessee tracks never seem to draw well for a touring show. I think I saw 4 Tennessee cars in the field and one of them were Owens.

I was just curious about the extra cost in running an outlaw vs. Lucas show.  Does one charge a higher sanction fee for promoters and is it more expensive for locals to run one or the other? I have no idea, but it seem Lucas gets a better showing from local drivers.

Recent rule changes in Lucas are going to keep a lot of locals from racing. The new rules will cost the weekend racers a couple thousand dollars to be legal. Not sure if outlaws have the same rule changes.

They do. Both WoO and Lucas are part of that Unified Rules Council.
