There were only 4 305 Sprints, and Rob Felix (21) left before the racing began.  Jake Gomola (4J) was leading the feature when something apparently broke coming out of the fourth turn, catapulting him into the wall and into a series of flips.  He got out of the car without assistance and seemed to be ok.  Greg Dobrosky (88) went on to win the feature over George Frederick (22).

There were 11 Open 4 Cylinder Cars tonight, with Steve Settle (3S) taking the win.  In the Young Guns, it was Justin Clark (01) coming home victorious.

This place should be the crown jewel of western Pa.
Yet, every time you go there it's like watching a monkey screw a football!

I don't understand these scheduling conflicts. MRP has the all stars with the 305's as part of the show, which do run there weekly, and there on the card at PPMS. 4 cars with 3 hitting the track. You talk about a pissing match between tracks, WOW.

a monkey screwing a football ? still on the floor on that one. lol

Great run Nick Kochuba!

he started last !

Yes with 55 stock cars and every person paying 35 bucks that came along with those cars .. it seems if you got on craigslist you could buy some used lights that work better than Heidelberg's original ones

Well for Sportsman qualifying the transponders weren't getting a hit.  They got that worked out and then later in the night the track lights went out in 1 and 2.  I give them credit thought, they had some mobile lights that they had to tow over to turns 1 and 2 and got it lit up nice.  Stuff happens, they adapted and we got some good racing in.  Yeah it ran late, but we had nowhere to be lol.

No it's not from what I have read! Just splitting the purse up and giving everyone the same amount of money!

Correct. Sucks it could not be run and not many of those guys are gonna drive 2-3 hours each way for $50 tow. So we totaled up the full purse and divided by the 27 cars who could have raced. $135 plus roughly $70 in gas and tire wear gets you basically the same $200 to start as the A main. I know everyone would prefer to race for $517 to win but not my cal on the noise ordinance.

And trust me I was pumped to see another 20+ car feature battle for $517. I'm as frustrated and upset as anyone. As are the Dobnaks and their family who are the main sponsor of that race.
