I still feel bad about how the Dobs Auto Race ended back at the ELM. So I approached Matt Miley and he agreed to make the next race on Saturday 7/1 the Dobs Automotive STAR SPANGLED SPECTACULAR for Sportsman, $500 to win in memory of Karen & Michael Dobnak. I appreciate Matt putting up the money to do this and I feel this will give the proper closure and respect to the Dobnak Family and drivers who have always supported the ELM. Please spread the word among the Stocks and let's get a good field together to support this opportunity. If anyone else wants to put money into the purse please let me know. We will hopefully have the Dobnaks in victory lane to finally hand their trophy out. Thanks.

I just want to say thanks Vince. Your efforts are much appreciated. That's why I put up the money for your dad's race. It is something I would have loved to do for my parents if I would have had the time. Unfortunately, but I'm still very fortunate, business and kids take all of my time. Even with the way it went down I would have still supported the race next year. This sport needs more people like you to put in that effort to do something great. I will have my kids there to hand out that trophy lol.

. I seriously do not see what you are trying to point out. Why would anyone with half a brain , think that you can have a race that cost more for purse payout & not charge for it ? Why would a track pay out more & have no way to recover that money ?

So if they are making it $500 to win and jack up the pit price to $40. What dont you understand about my comment about making it $10,000 to win and pit admission $100. Granted I could have used any number.

Bhhracing nothing was "jacked up" to $40. It's been $40 pit admission since the schedule came out to pay the purse for the Boss sprints. I approached Matt to make it $500 to win and correct the Dobs issue and he said I'll do you one better and also make it $100 to start. So since you're keen on math, $100 to start is > $50 for the same $40 pit pass. Most nights it's $35 to get in so for the extra $5 they will get an additional $50 to start and a shot at $500 to win. But yet people like you still find reasons to mock an attempt to help the stock guys versus support it. Sad.
