My starter went out this past weekend on my Bert tranny. I would assume any Brinn or Bert starter would work? If so, are there any recommendations on the brand? At Precise I'm seeing CVR, Allstar, Powermaster, speedmaster....

I bought an Off brand called DBR on ebay .. it was less than half the price of the others and I have not had any trouble ..

DBR makes a very good starter for way less than the others you mentioned. Give them a call. http://www.dbrstarters.com
