The sportsman modified rules state no tapered spacer

so by definition our new  angled spacer is NOT legal for the 602 Sportsman division

 

Our angled spacer is permitted in most late model sanctions (except UMP) always check the rules

 

Rocky---the new Killer spacer does work the best of anything we have tested amongst legal sportsman modified spacers

Here we go, rules say no angled spacers, period!!! Why would they even be needed on a crate? This is exactly what happened to the limited modified class years ago. It was a fair and relatively inexpensive class to run, then the better funded drivers wanted aluminum wheels, then berts, etc, and Vicki gave in their wishes, and ruined the class, most racers could not justify spending the ever increasing parts cost, and just quit. It was sad, I hope Vicki doesn't let this start in the sportsmen mods, it is ok as is. Rocky, why would u want to spend more money, you have won most of the races against the kids, if you want to go faster, step up and run with the big boys! Jmo.

the angled spacers that we produce are NOT for Sportsman modifieds.

They are primarily for Late Models and only when permitted by the rules.

Okay dokey, that clears that. Didn't want to offend anyone, but at one time I was involved with limited cars, and to me, I would hate to see this class go the same way. It has already revolved from a ''beginner'' class, to people who have raced 20-30 years. Seems very unfair to a teenager14 years old to have to compete against way more money and experience.. JMO

Racing with seasoned competitors is actually usually good for younger drivers starting out. Following a top level driver around teaches better than anything.

I agree with Cool1 on his  basic thought.  Look at what E mods started out as! They were suppose to be an entry level class with a $400.oo engine claim.. when was the last engine claim you saw????   Shocks are another costly area that sould be claimed.
