He did win last night at Elkins. Maybe he is getting his mojo back to make it two-in-a-row.

He is a good driver and seems like a good dude. But mandid he benefit from having that crew in the 6. He's won some ultimate races but hasn't been anywhere near the level he was a few years ago.

A top level SLM driver that went into 2017 w hi expectations, a sponsor backs out,a motor program that was questionable at best. JD drove his a** off in a couple races and came from the back to top 5 finishes. I hope the hell he made it and will be very curious as to how he does. He is trying to get seat time in that new XR-1. I think he will definitely be a guy to watch thru the balance of the year.

Davenport wins over Kyle Hardy, Michael Lake, Alex Ferree, and Robbie Black per the Dog Hollow Facebook Page. I assume he started last in the feature, since he got the last qualifying spot in the B-Main.

He should be right at home with the xr1 as it is pretty much like a long horn.

He looked good and drove hard and faster than anyone else to get to the front. I don't think I seen a mark on his car.
Pretty good for day 2 in a new combo.
